Shey Emmanuel Berinyuy, CEO Berico, paid a supervisory visit to some KHL students posted in the North West Region Region of Cameroon. The aim of this visit was to supervise some of the students of Development Studies at the Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven. The students were carrying out their internships as preconditions for the partial fulfillment for the award of their Bachelors degrees in the various desciplines.
As the consultant and guest lecturer on intercultural awareness and competencies, it was deemed an imperative to evaluate the pace of intercultural adjustment as well as the compatibility of their course work, the institutions and environment to the aims of their internship.
The students were spread in local institutions in Bafut, Wainamah, Shisong and Djottin. It was their very trip abroad and they were assigned to stayed with local host families in some remoter areas with very limited socio economic facilities.
